MARK TWAIN

My name is Alyssa Joy. Alyssa is the first & and Joy is the middle. I grew up in a suburb of Grand Rapids, Michigan. Cold winters and warm summers.. but I would not have wanted to grow up anywhere else. In fact, when it came to choosing a college, I chose to stay in the Grand Rapids area. I attend Grand Valley State University, located with it’s main campus in Allendale and another campus in Grand Rapids.

I am majoring in Advertising and Public Relations and minoring in General Business. My dream job is to be the face of a company, the one who reports to the press, does interviews, writes news articles and does so much more.

I do want to stay in west Michigan for the rest of my life. I love doing life here. The four seasons are amazing and each season brings new things to do. I live close to my family and friends and would not want it to be any other way.
